The rear perspective of the Sterling Meadows building, set in its Mt. Sterling neighborhood
Our History

A story of service and renewal.

Sterling Meadows has carried this corner of Maysville Street through more than one chapter. The building has been renewed. The standards have been raised. What has not changed is the conviction that started this place: assisted living should feel like a home in the neighborhood, not a facility on a map.

We are now stewarded by the second generation of the same family. The decisions made here are made by people who answer their phones and walk the halls.

Leadership

The team.

A small group with a long memory. Names, not titles, are how things get done.

President

Cliff White

Owner and steward. Second generation. Kentucky native.

VP, Community Operations

Susan Abercrombie

Day-to-day operations. The one who makes sure today goes the way today should go.

VP, Human Resources

Alicia Chargualaf

People and culture. Hires the staff who set the tone.

Resident Service Director

Derek Markin

Resident-facing care. Nine years in this field. The first call when something needs attention.

Community Involvement

A member of Mt. Sterling, not just a service provider.

Our staff sit on the Montgomery County Rotary Club. We host community events in the Ballroom. Local civic groups know our doors and our calendar. The fundraisers, the food pantry drives, the school donations, those are commitments we keep, not photo opportunities we attend.

This is what family-owned looks like in a small town. We are not on the way to somewhere else.
